Pasta with Creamy Cashew, Spinach & Mushroom Sauce

Last week I shared my Quick Creamy Cashew Recipe and today I want to share one of the ways I use it. My daughters really love this recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of Pasta (any kind)
  • Quick Creamy Cashew Sauce
  • 4 cups of Baby Portobello Mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cups of Frozen Chopped Spinach

Directions:

Cook pasta following the directions on the box. While the pasta is cooking, in a saucepan place the portobello mushrooms and frozen spinach with a little bit of water (to prevent sticking). Cook covered in medium/high heat, stirring occasionally. Prepare the Quick Creamy Cashew Sauce. When the mushroom and spinach are cooked stir in the cashew sauce. Pour the sauce over the drained pasta. Enjoy!

Procedimiento:

Cocine la pasta según las instrucciones de la caja. Mientras se cocina la pasta, en una cacerola coloque las setas y la espinaca con un poco de agua (para que no se pegue). Tape la cacerola y cocine a fuego mediano/alto, revolviendo ocacionalmente. Prepare la Salsa Cremosa de Cajuil Rápida. Cuando las setas y espinaca estén listos, añada la salsa de cajuil mezclandolos bien.   Vierta la salsa sobre la pasta ya drenada. ¡Que lo disfrute!
